Blue Elephant, AZ BEER Fest, & Ear Candy: One Busy Wednesday

Today was a pretty busy podcast. We had calls from some great AZ peeps talking about some cool events:

1.) Reece Lester and Tyler Neil from Blue Elephant Media called in to talk a bit about the split DVD for Hour of the Wolf and Slut Sister. They encourage you to purchase the DVD from the bands (allowing "the band" to yield the bigger profit *gasp*). Slut Sister is playing this Friday @ Stray Cats, so go get your copy.

Blue Elephant Media are just beginning to offer services to the public, and those could include video production, website design, and help you generate or build your fanbase. Check out the website http://www.blueelephantmedia.com/, their page on YouTube, and Blue Elephant Hookah.

2.)Casey Killian of The Crown Kings called to promote The Great Arizona Beer Festival March 7th and 8th at Tempe Beach Park (corner of Mill Ave and Rio Salado Parkway). You can read more information about the festival at http://www.azbeer.com/. You can get your tickets early for $40 or pay $50 at the gate. Tickets include entrance, you're own mug, and 24 sampling tickets, and there are discounts for the designated driver. Over 100 Specialty and Micro Brews will be featured, and 165 brews wil be available for sampling. 21+

3.) Nate Anderson from Ear Candy called in to talk about their Rocking Night with the Roadrunners

5 bands + Hockey Game + Donation to Ear Candy = $20 The Roadrunners is hosting a benefit night for Ear Candy. Tickets can be purchased ONLINE for $15, normal ticket prices are nearly $38+. Also, $5 of your ticket will be donated to Ear Candy. Here is the important thing, YOU HAVE TO USE THE PROMO CODE: EAR CANDY, or we don't benefit!!!

We'll have KSLX and live music in front of the arena before the game, No Longer Together will be our House Band during the game, and then afterwards we have a show across the street ar Hard Rock Cafe. The After-Game show will feature The Preserve, Black Carl, Dry River Yacht, Alex LoSardo, and No Longer Together. Tickets will be $5 with an Ear Candy/Roadrunners ticket or $10 without.
